Working Woman

So.....it's been about a week since my last posting and it's because I'm employed!! I have been working and am excited about my new job - it seems like a great company and a fun place to work. Sales is certainly stressful and intimidating, but I know I can do it!

Getting back into a schedule is nice - as much as I have loved spending time with Jay all day and having free time, I am enjoying my time away from home and appreciate my time when I am at home with Jay even more. Plus - we aren't with each other 24/7 so it gives us some "alone time".

I still LOVE living with him and am excited about what is to come. We are still working on furnishing our place and getting boxes unpacked - almost there! We even had our first dinner guests last night and it went well. Aaron and Myla came over and Jay and I made roasted apricot chicken, a yummy cauliflower side (sounds odd, but was good) and a quinoa salad that we both love. We had homemade banana bread for dessert. It was low key, but nice to have visitors and enjoy time with friends...
