So Jay doesn't know it yet, but we are going to enjoy a bit of culture this fall. After thoroughly enjoing the broadway musical Wicked, I am craving more!
Tonight I flipped through the Entertainment Book my sister gave me last year for Christmas - looking for some ideas. Now I have several options that I am considering. Here are the ones that caught my eye (in no particular order):
1. A Christmas Carol
2. The Nutcracker
3. Swan Lake
I am determined to attend one of these events as they are highly regarded and are great segways into the holiday season...which is great since here in the desert it never really feels like Christmas.
The good thing is that I'm not being completely selfish in this - seeing as I am quite sure my sweet love will not be thrilled at the idea...I have backup! Robert Schimmel is performing at the Improv in November, and I think I am going to get tickets for that as well. I know that Jay will really enjoy it and I probably will too :)
And not to backtrack, but speaking of segways...I was walking down Mill Avenue in Tempe the other day and saw a Segway - you know - the $10,000 kind - tied up to a bicycle rack like a bike. It was odd to me, and I realized that probably 5-10 years from now I will find it odd to see a bike on a bike rack. I really hope that's not the case, but with the way people are becoming lazier and lazier, I wouldn't be surprised!
Okay - that's it for now. Just felt the need to ramble. xoxo
