We set a date!

August 9th, 2008 I will become a Mrs! I can't wait - though am determined to enjoy the planning process!

We both are learning how to deal with each other under the stresses of wedding planning. Last week we both got a bit emotional about the whole thing & I quickly decided to give wedding talk a break for a while. Have barely talked about it since last Wednesday. I even went as far as putting the "Wedding Book" - my binder full of information, ideas, etc. - in a bag upstairs in the guest room so it wouldn't distract me! It actually has felt great, but this week it will be pulled back out as I start thinking about "save the date" cards. With so many out of town guests, we will need to let everyone know of the date as soon as possible so flights & hotels can be booked right away!

Other than wedding plans, we are just dealing with the AZ heat. Last night I took a dip in the pool around 8:30. It was perfectly cool and was just what I needed to cool off after a day over 110! July 4 is going to be interesting as it will be 117-118. Hopefully the day will be spent by the pool with a margarita in hand :)
