Update

Has it really been over a month since my last post!? Wow. Time flies!

Jay and I just got back from our trip to VT. It was the most amazing 3 day trip ever. I squeezed in visits with my closest friends, my family, and even attended my 10 year high school reunion! The reunion was a great time, everyone pretty much looked like they did 10 years ago - they now just had babies, husbands/wives, and jobs! I don't know why I was worried that Jay would not have fun, because he of course got along right away with everyone he met - that's one of the reasons I love him so much :)

We stayed at my friend Jess and her husbands house for the trip and had a great time. Jess and I have been friends since 1st grade and I couldn't ask for a better friend! It's great because we lost touch for a couple years after college, but when she moved in a couple houses down from my mom, we bumped into each other in the neighborhood and started where we left off! That is the sign of a true friend.

Oh and I can't forget to write about my poor sister that got hit by a dump truck in her car while I was in VT. I guess she was doing a U-Turn that she misjudged the timing just enough to get hit by the Trash Beast. Luckily, the only serious injury was to her car, while her wrist was broken in 4 places. She is now bearing the "Blue Monster" a huge cast that goes from her fingers up to her armpit. I am thankful to God that her life was spared, for hearing such tragic news of an accident and being so far away is just a horrible feeling, I wanted to fly down to VA just to be with her.
