Today is the 1 year anniversary of our engagement!
365 days later, we are getting down to the nitty gritty of wedding planning, and with only 105 days to go, we better be! It has been a whirlwind of a year, and the only things left to do are the "little things". Unfortunately, there are many little things to get done! We have a goal of getting at least one thing done each week which I am sure is not enough to get everything done at this point, but it's a reasonable goal that I know we can reach!
This weekend, we are going to Men's Warehouse to look at tuxedo choices for Jay and the groomsmen. I have swatches of my dress and the bridesmaid dresses ready, so hopefully we will find something that works!
The important thing is that over this past year, we have grown even closer together preparing for our marriage. It is so important not to lose sight of the real event taking place. It's not about walking down the aisle and having a big party as much as it is about a lifelong commitment to each other. Our love has grown and deepened and I couldn't be more excited for what lies ahead...(and of course the party will be a blast too!).
