A fun-filled weekend

Jay and I had a fun-filled weekend and are finally pooped out on the couch this Sunday evening! It started out with a Diamondbacks game at Chase Field (which we still call "The BOB" as it was named when we first moved here). As you can see, it was a beautiful day and the D-Backs won 8-2 over the Rockies!

Saturday was great - Jay had the day off for the first time in months. We slept in (kinda- till 8) after which he made me a delicious breakfast. Afterwards, we headed out to the pool and enjoyed some time in the sun. We do, of course, have wedding tans to work on! Next, we did some errands, mainly picked up groceries as we had a girlfriend from work over with her husband for dinner. It was a very nice time - we all hit it off and had a fun night.

Today we headed to the Scottsdale Culinary Festival. For you Vermonters out there, it's very similar to the Chew Chew at home. Again, a beautiful day and we just spent the day eating & drinking with friends. The food was pretty good and overall it was just nice to get out and do something different! The sun did take its toll, and though I don't have sunburn, I do feel the drain that a day in the sun causes.

To end a wonderful fun-filled weekend, we topped it off with a short nap (while Jay watched his recording of the Masters - gotta love DVR), a frozen pizza (in the oven as we speak), and a movie.

I did not cross anything off any of my lists this weekend, and that's ok. It was juuussstttttt right :)
