Ok. It is time to admit an embarrassing truth. I am a Big Brother addict. This has been going on for a few seasons now and from what I hear, the first step to overcoming addiction is admitting you have a problem. My second step is to also admit that I only know ONE other person on the planet that watches this show!? My Big Brother Friend at work and I whisper together for a few minutes each Monday, Wednesday and Thursday morning to talk about the drama going on in the house, which brings me to one of the things I like about the show - it is on THREE DAYS A WEEK. Some people may think this is too much of a commitment, and I have to agree with them - unless they have a DVR. This lovely piece of technology allows me to indulge in my reality-tv indulgence without putting Jay in the painful position of watching it too.
The second and main reason I believe I like the show is because it literally is 40 minutes of people-watching. Like going to the mall or sitting in the library peeking over a book watching people go about their daily lives. Of course this show is the opposite of reality or anyone's normal-ish life, but it still allows me to observe people and their raw emotions. Seeing rough-around-the-edges men brought to tears, women going from being pushovers to being leaders, and even people falling in love. EW. I warned you this was embarrassing.
Anyway, there you have it. I'm on my way to recovery...of course, once the season ends :)

I'm a blogger addict and am probably placing this comments seconds after you posted it.
Never watched Big Brother. But, we all have TV therapy of sorts. Mine is The Office.
