Today was a 3 cookie day and I feel it. Actually, it was more like a 2 cinnamon bun + 3 cookie day. It started off this morning with a HUGE craving for Starbuck’s classic coffee cake. My weekly splurge was calling, so I trotted next door for a piece (of cake). While walking back to the office, one of my friends/coworkers told me about the cinnamon buns that a fellow coworker brought in. What?! That could have totally taken the place of my recently purchased coffee cake! Minutes later(coffee cake in desk drawer for tomorrow), I indulge in 2 cream cheese frosted cinnamon buns before 10am. MMMMmmmmmm.
Lunch took me to Sacks which I love for several reasons:
1. Our company gets ½ off there, so lunch is only $4
2. Great selection
3. You get a tiny chocolate chip cookie with your order
4. Most of my friends do not like said chocolate chip cookies, so I get theirs.
So, the first 2 cookies are Sacks cookies….THEN one of our VPs is getting married this weekend. For a little office celebration, we got together for wedding cake cookies (sugar cookies with the BEST frosting ever!). Hence, cookie #3 was born.
Needless to say, my jeans are fitting a little tight this afternoon. Just to put the icing on the cookie, we are headed to a Diamondbacks game tonight where hotdogs will certainly be eaten.

Was the sugar cookie as good as the Quality Bake Shop?!? Because those (and the ones Mom and I make) are pretty hard to beat!
ooh I miss Quality Bake Shop, especially the Date filled cookies...memories!
Three cookies? Come on. You know me, I can't have just one or two or three! I can eat a whole batch in one sitting. And it shows on my fat arse!
