My dress has left the building!

This morning, my friend Tara joined me to attend my first dress fitting! I am so happy that she came (all the way from the NW valley!) and took lots of pictures that I can't wait to see. For obvious reasons, they are not getting posted on my blog, you'll have to just wait & see in August!

Seeing as I purchased my dress nearly a year ago, it is miraculous that I still love it. I do admit that I've tried it on a few times since receiving it in October, and had my doubts. You just don't get the real effect trying on a $$$$ dress in your dark small bedroom and looking at yourself in the bathroom mirror. So I was quite relieved to try it on in a bright, well-lit room, standing on a pedestal-thingy as I did at Fiori Bridal the day I purchased it. Getting all pinned up, I just knew that I picked the right dress and the veil matched perfectly too!

Now that the dress is out of sight/out of mind (yeah right), my focus is on getting invitations addressed & mailed out in the next couple of weeks.
