Weekend Update

This weekend started off early after I took a 1/2 day on Friday. It was a great day - I went with Jay to the eye doctor where we got him a new prescription for glasses, but didn't find any frames we liked. Then we headed up north to Glendale to pick up his wedding band! Unfortunately, I don't get to see it until the wedding (he figured it was fair since he doesn't get to see my dress until the big day). From what I hear, it looks great and fits perfect! After that, we headed toward Westgate (for you non-Arizonans, it's the shopping area that was built around University of Phoenix Stadium for the Super Bowl). We were a bit early for our evening plans, so decided to catch a movie - The Hulk. It was actually pretty good. Finally, we headed over to Gordon Biersch to have some yummy beer, garlic fries, and to wish one of Jay's coworkers good luck with his new FAA job. Here is a pic of the boys:

Saturday, our friends Jeff and Tara came down to visit. Tara and I went to my second dress fitting which was very nice. It will be finished by July 12!! Afterwards, we headed to our favorite place for cheap eats - Chino Bandito. It was a very nice relaxing afternoon after which we came home and relaxed on the couch for a while. I decided to head to the gym (very proud for going, I must admit), then we went to our friends Raveen and Erika's house for some pizza and a late night swim. Boy did we sleep like babies last night!!

Today Jay played golf this morning in the 105+ degree heat while Erika and I enjoyed some coffee followed by a very successful shopping trip. All I can say is I am pooped! Its going to be a busy week, so I'm headed to bed.
