Greenerize your Life

Like my new word? Greenerize. You know what it means - cut waste & save the environment. Anyway - on Twitter today someone posted a way (finally!) to stop the insanity of phone book delivery. I don't know about you, but every 3 months or so we get a gigantic delivery of phone books on our front step. These aren't Vermont sized phone books, these are Phoenix Metro phone books. Phone books that are a good 5+ inches thick that I have not once saved or cracked open in several years. That's what the INTERNET is for people!! It is not 1971 anymore!!

Anyway, here is a link to a site where you can remove yourself from the list. Lets all greenerize our lives and sign up.

What a great idea! Mine always sit outside until there is enough dirt and rain on it that you barely want to touch it to finally throw it away. I added myself to the list!

I added my name to the list too. My phone book always goes straight to the recycling bin, never into the house. Of course we always get the yellow book, the talking book, and a couple of others. Seriously who needs this, and who uses this?

I'm glad everyone is joining in on this wonderful opportunity to make a statement! We do not need or want more useless paper on our doorsteps! Don't forget to pass the info on to your friends!

GREAT idea (I obviously am a little behind on your blog) - but anyhoo I'm a little more phone book free than I used to be!
