Everyone knows that I love surprises (good surprises of course!). Well, I have become a fan of Delight.com since I ordered my Envirosax from them almost a year ago. I am on their email list and also get updates from them on Twitter.
Last week, I received a tweet and an email about their "mystery items". You could buy $10, $20, $50 or $100 surprise packages which they guaranteed would give you a package of goodies worth more than that. Not all packages are the same and of course you can't return the package once you get it. Last year their mystery packages sold out in minutes. This year, I decided to give 'em a try.
My $10 package came in the mail yesterday. Here is what was in it:

*Woodgrain File folders: Value $14.50
*Def Leppard CD: Value $15.48 - they don't even sell this on their site so I'm not sure what the deal is??
*Set of 8 tin herb tags: Value Unknown, but part of a sold out set on their site valued at $39.95
*Pocketknife engraved with "Cornett Const & Electric, Middletown, CA" - what the heck? Seriously. Really?
Overall, I'd say I'm happy with my surprise. I mostly like the fancy file folders and herb tags which more than pay for the money I spent. The CD and pocketknife were worth the laugh. Who doesn't get pumped listening to Pour Some Sugar On Me every once in a while?
